The Annoying Orange....

I was watching some videos on YouTube the other day and i came across the following videos which are oddly fascinating, disturbing,"deliciously" entertaining, and hilarious all at the same time.

When I find videos that i think are funny or cute i always like to share them so i had my brother (Richard) watch them. After watching 'Marshmallow Murder' he clicked on the related video of The Annoying Orange and that's where my troubles all began.... Here are a few of the videos...

yeah....I think the annoying orange is well..annoying. Richard on the other hand thinks that its brilliant and that daneboe (annoying orange creator) is a comedy genius. Rich is the kind of person who enjoys annoying people so it makes sense that he would like the annoying orange. When we were kids he watched The Mask with Jim Carrey and Jurassic Park practically nonstop to annoy me plus he memorized every line in both movies so when it wasn't on T.V. he could annoy me by repeating the lines.

So today he asks me if i would like to go run some errands with him and because i didn't have anything else to do and i said yes. Boy was that a mistake!! The whole hour and a half we were out Richard was like "hey apple, hey apple. hey apple" until i would respond then he was like "orange you glad i didn't say apple again..." or some other stupid phrase from the videos. I was being tortured and Rich was having a blast. By the time we got home i was practically insane, and ready to murder some oranges... Now I sit here, writing this blog, sipping some homemade Orange Juice and enjoying the sweet taste of my revenge ahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Private Practice And Addison Slutgomery!

I finally got around to watching the last 2 episodes of Private Practice that I had saved on our DVR today. I love Greys Anatomy and Private Practice, but as cool as all the medical stuff is the real reason i watch these shows it to see all the personal drama play out. After watching Private Practice I've come to realize that Addison Montgomery is such a slut!

She started out on Greys Anatomy married to Derek Shepard. She Then had an affair on her husband with his best friend Mark Sloan. Then her and Derek decided to try and reconcile their marriage but he was ultimately in love with Meredith Grey whom he was having an affair with. Upon finding out about Derek's affair she sleeps with Mark Sloan again, which ultimately leads to her divorce. Once divorced she ends up sleeping with Alex Karev an intern under her service. Once finding out that Alex was not interested in pursuing anything other that a sexual relationship, Addison decides to leave and thus the show Private Practice came about.

On the first episode of Private Practice, Addison made out with Pete Wilder one of the doctors at the practice whom she will have some sexual tension with throughout the seasons to come. However after Pete stands her up for a date she begins seeing a cop named Kevin. While living with Kevin, she makes out with Dr. Wyatt Lockhart whom was working for a rival practice. That make out session ends up in her and Kevin breaking up. Then she meets Dr. Noah Barnes whom she is very attracted to and ends up kissing and "falling in love with". However it turns out that Noah is the husband of one of her pregnant patients, thus Addison decides not to pursue a relationship with him. Then Mark Sloan comes to town in another crossover event and Addison falls into her old habits sleeping with him again. Then she starts to fall in love with her coworker and long time friend Sam Bennett who is also the ex husband of her best friend Naomi. Upon realizing that she cannot pursue a relationship with Sam because she does not want to upset Naomi, she starts sleeping with none other than Pete Wilder, (who is now a father by Violet Turner another coworker whom he is still in love with). Now Sam just found out about her and Pete and does not want to Have anything to do with Addison...

OMG the drama...lol and it keeps me coming back every week! I only Have one suggestion for the show...I Think that they should change Addison's name to Addison Slutgomery and then all would be right in the world of Private Practice. :P

A Little History

My husband (Karl) and I have been married for 10 years, we have no children other than our 2 dogs (whom we spoil alot)and we are gamers. The funny thing is that every game that we play together now i used to hate with a passion. I used to be the stereo typical gamers wife, who would nag every time i saw him playing, I didn't understand how he could spend so much time playing video games. The only games i had really played prior to our marriage was the occasional game in the arcade while waiting on a movie to start and a few games on the Super Nintendo, which my brother played on more that I did. The first 2 years we were together we couldn't afford a computer, (now we have 3, a desktop each and a laptop lol) so he mostly played the PlayStation which he had before we got together. That used to really annoy me because I would have nothing else to do but watch him play or read, so lets just say i went though a lot of books during that time. Then we got our first computer and he was monopolizing the computer all the time playing PC games, which was of course another source of aggravation for me.

The Main game that he was playing was World Of Warcraft horde side (obviously vanilla wow), and boy did i used to get pissed at him for playing, i hated dungeons and raids and how long he would be involved in them. I hated how they took his full attention, I hated how there was no "pause button" like on the PlayStation, and I hated how if i would ask him to do something he would tell me he would do it after he finished, and of course he never remembered after he was done. Then one day i got sick of it and decided that i was going to try the game to see if i could understand what about it was so captivating to him. The first toon i tried out was a human warrior, i leveled to 5 and deleted it. Then i tried a Tauren Druid which i leveled to 30, at this point i got bored with it and decided i didn't care for the game. Then Burning Crusade came out, by this time we had 2 computers and he was so excited for expansion. So i decided that i would try again. I made a Blood Elf Mage we leveled together and i was hooked. I now have the Level 80 mage (my main), an 80 Warlock, and a 35 Priest (yes they are all Blood Elf, i love the look of the blood elf). He has an 80 undead priest (his main), 80 blood elf mage, 80 orc rogue, 80 blood elf Paladin, and 35 troll hunter. My hubby now has free reign to play all he wants without the naggy wife, we play dungeons together, we raid together, and we level new toons together.

The other game we recently started playing online together is Astro Empires (AE). I hated that game with about the same passion that i hated wow and now I'm addicted to it... It all started with one of his guildies giving away his account since he was unable to play anymore. The guild leadership asked Karl if he wanted to take it and they would find someone else for his lower lvl acct. Of course he said yes. His guild has a lot of wives that play with their husbands so when he was on vent (ventrilo) one day they were asking him if his wife would like to take the acct. He then started telling them about how i hated the game and how i hated him playing it... listening to all that made me start to feel bad so i told him that i would take over on a trial basis, and the rest is history.

So the moral of the story for me is that if you cant beat them join them, that i should loosen up especially when it comes to new games he finds (because i will probably end up playing them), oh, and to just have fun! :)
